It's hard to reach 40 000 desirability, at 35 desirability per second (wich is the max upgrade, I think) it takes 19 minutes. Maybe you should add other transactions with better exchange rates but that need bigger amounts to be exchanged, or simply more levels or variety of upgrades, like exponentials, like squaring (retroactively) the upgrades of x per second.
Thank you for the input! We'll make sure to add that the current version is merely a demo, and we'll keep those ideas in mind when progressing the game.
